Beautiful Morning Moose Tours!

This morning, we had a group of eight go on a morning moose safari with us. The group was made up of two couples from Virgina, and a family from Wisconsin. The morning was foggy and pretty warm for a morning in Maine. The group saw a total of two moose while on their tour; one on the pond, and one on the way back from the pond. The group also got a chance to see other awesome Maine wildlife like deer, loons, foxes, and hares. Just another beautiful scenic moose tour with Northeast Guide Service.

Crazy Weather and Beautiful Wildlife.

Last night, we had two canoe moose safaris go out. The weather was quite temperamental at times going from sunshine to rain and back and fourth. The first group was a family of seven from Pennsylvania. The family saw three moose in total including a bull, cow, and a yearling. The family also saw some other beautiful Maine wildlife. They saw an eagle, hare, and even a ground hog! The second tour was for two families; a family of three and a family of four. The two families only saw a bull moose while on their safari, but they got to see a lot of other wildlife such as loons on the pond and hares on the bus ride. Although the weather was iffy last night, both tours had an awesome time out on the pond. 

Moose, Moose, and More Moose!

Yesterday we had an exciting day full of moose safaris. We had two tours going out, one in the morning and one in the evening.

On our morning tour we had a couple from Germany. They have visited the western part of the United States and they wanted to see the east. We had a great time on our canoe tour. We saw an abundance of wildlife and a beautiful sunny morning, it was a great day to be out on the pond paddling around. We saw a total of 5 moose, 2 loons, and a hare. When we saw a moose, there was always another just around the corner each time.

Our evening tour was also fantastic. The weather was wonderful, it was very clear out. We had a mother and daughter who joined us as well as a lovely couple all the way from Germany. We saw deer and three moose. We had a lot of fun with some great mixed conversation.

With the increasingly nice weather and ample wildlife it is the perfect time to join us on one of our moose safaris. Canoeing on the pond alone is a great experience, with the added pleasure of seeing many moose, deer, loons, foxes, and hare.
