We saw 10 moose all together- 8 cows and 2 yearlings. While canoeing on the pond we got to watch a mother and her new born moose eating together. It was an amazing experience to be out with nature! We hope that everyone had a great time!

Great Places for a Family Vacation

A great way to spend some quality time with the family is to go out on a wildlife adventure! At northeast guide service we took to the north Maine woods on a moose safari. We had a father and son from Miami, a family of 5 from Cincinnati, and a family of 3 from Texas. It was cloudy with a few showers, but that didn't keep all of the amazing wild life away! We saw 11 moose- 2 bulls, 7 cows, and 2 yearlings.

While we paddled around the pond in our canoes we also saw a deer and some loons. It was an memorable experience to be able to watch a mother and her yearling feeding together. We hope that everyone had an amazing time!

Looking for a great romantic getaway on a budget? Northeast guide service offers moose safaris that create unforgettable experiences. Today we took out a couple from Switzerland that were looking for an outdoors adventure in the north Maine woods. It was a perfect night and we got to see 10 moose!

On the pond we watched a cow and her calf eating together while the sun set behind the mountains. One bull even swam right by our canoe! We also saw 3 deer, 2 loons, a beaver, ducks, and 4 hare on our adventure. It was a perfect summer evening!

Vacation on a Budget

We took to the north Maine woods today on a moose tour adventure.

A great way to save money and still be able to go out on a vacation is wildlife exploration! Nature has a lot to offer for an unforgettable and priceless experience! We left northeast guide service base on a beautiful sunny afternoon. We had a couple from cape cod with us that had never seen a moose before! We enjoyed the sunset canoeing around the pond and saw 6 moose: 2 bulls, 3 cows, and a calf. We watched them eat for a long time while loons swam around our boat. On the way back we spotted a hare in the back roads. What a great night for some amazing pictures!
